Operator UX for complex field workflows

Worked across multi-viewport operator interfaces, outdoor readability constraints, and multi-persona field workflows where mistakes are expensive.

Heavy equipment & surveying software · UX strategy · interaction design

B2BData-dense UIField constraints

Outcome

Clearer information hierarchy and interaction patterns for high-stakes operator contexts—designed for real field constraints, not desktop defaults.

Field software isn’t a dashboard problem. Operators juggle live metrics, hardware constraints, glare, gloves, and split attention.

Across operator and instrument surfaces, I focused on viewport composition, progressive disclosure, and design-system packaging that survives outdoor and embedded contexts.

This is the same skill set I sell independently: diagnosing friction in complex workflows and turning it into a buildable redesign.

Client product screens remain confidential. Framing is capability and problem class only.
